AI Assistant Use
How the Pexiva Assistant works, what it does with your messages, and the guardrails around it.
Last updated: May 2026.
What it is
The Pexiva Assistant is an AI assistant — not a human. It helps answer questions about our services, asks short clarifying questions, and can route you to Sales or Support or capture your details for follow-up.
Data handling
Messages you send may be stored and reviewed by PEXIVA to operate and improve the service. We ask that you do not share confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal data. Contact details are collected only with your consent and used only to follow up — we do not sell your data.
Models and providers
Where the assistant uses third-party AI models, those providers act as processors and we configure them so that customer conversations are not used to train their models without an applicable agreement. The current implementation is rule-based and does not transmit messages to an external model unless explicitly enabled.
Our AI governance stance
For client engagements we keep a human in the loop for consequential decisions, validate outputs rather than treating them as authoritative, and work within each client’s security and governance requirements. We do not train models on customer data without agreement.
Limitations
The assistant can be wrong or incomplete. For anything important, confirm with a member of the PEXIVA team via the Contact page.
